School News: Dwyer Relief Club is sponsoring a food and clothing drive now through May 5

Family tours will be offered 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Dec. 17 for those with children age 1 through grade five. Call (561) 253-3950 for information. The school is at 9625 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens.
The annual Tot Shop will take place Wednesday through Dec. 10. Volunteers will assist students in choosing, wrapping and addressing Christmas gifts for their loved ones.
The elementary Christmas program, Back to the Manger, takes place at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9. Admission is free.
JUPITER MIDDLE
The Drama Department is presenting the musical The Ever After at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the school, 15245 Military Trail. In the play, a popular talk show hostess invites to her show several princesses who were supposed to live happily ever after. Tickets are $3 and available at the door on performance nights.

The Relief Club is sponsoring a food and clothing drive now through May 5. Students, teachers, parents and community members are encouraged to donate clothing and non-perishable items that will be distributed in soup kitchens, shelters and other agencies throughout the county. The Relief Club also helps victims of natural disasters, such as tsunamis, mud slides and hurricanes. Students in the club are drawing special attention to the situation in Haiti, asking for monetary donations, canned and dry food, water, wash cloths, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, first aid kits, alcohol and hand sanitizer.

The Palm Beach County Art Teachers Association is featuring original art works by 14 of the county’s art teachers and community members. The exhibition is under way and continues through Dec. 31 at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail. Participating artists include Jennie Barnett, Jerilyn Brown, Susannah Brown, Diane Cappella, Elizabeth Christian-Bruno, Kris Davis, Bernie George, Lee Glaze, Brian Kovachik, Lianne Lavoy, Linda Morgan, Kim Pilla, Rosemary Shaw and Linda Stevenson.
