Yung Mil Performing on 106 and Park This Friday!

Parkrose High School’s very own Yung Mil will be performing this Friday on BET’s 106 and Park! The Northwest native won the Def Jam Rapstar Video Contest back in March and is now prepping for his big appearance in the NYC.
Back in March, Get Schooled received over 100 videos to the Def Jam Rapstar Video Contest from high school students in cities across the US. Young Mils microphone prowess and motivational lyrics caught all of our attention and in April he was named the winner. You can check out his winning video here!
Even with everything on his plate Yung Mil has been a huge supporter of our Celebrity Text Challenge which asks all of you to submit your goals for a chance to text with one of our celebrities. We picked our first winner last Friday but there is still time to sign up if you havent already.
Yung Mil flew out to New York City on Monday and spent Tuesday with Def Jams Russell Simmons and Kevin Liles before settling down to prepare for his big performance on Friday at 6PM. Check out the photos of his exciting meeting with the two musicmoguls below!
