Knox County Schools Superintendent Jim McIntyre today will recommend that the school board reject the applications for two proposed charter schools.
His recommendation stems from the advice of a 13-member review committee that evaluated the documents.
The applications contained several deficiencies, according to the committee’s reports.
The school board will discuss McIntyre’s recommendations today and vote on them Wednesday.
