Pay a visit to a Dollar store. Check out prices and qualities of the items you need.
You may buy school supplies there the same day, presuming that you know prices at regular retailer stores. Why? Same school supplies found in Dollar store at price of 1 dollar may actually be cheaper at your local retailer stores such as WalMart, Sears, Target, pharmacy chain stores etc.

Review coupons and flyers at home and on the internet. Print out or circle the best deals for each store in your location.
